So here we go

My first blog ever... where should I start... ah I know!!! i got a free sketchbook today and pizza and soda.... Why? you are probably asking yourself... well I am student of Animation and Illustration at San Jose State University. Recently I got accepted to the Bachelor of Fine Arts program and its been really a honor to be part of it. Right now I am working on a lot of projects at school and during my spare time I also work on some personal projects. All of these projects have been taking a long time to bring to completion. It isn't easy to keep with classes, work and everything else when you only have 24 hrs a day. But hey!!! no worries... There's always a solution... or is there? My tidepool painting is done in 2 weeks and I'm barely starting... my instructor has been looking at me for the past few weeks as if I was lost... dead and hopeless. I'm determined to prove them the otherwise though...   With 14 days left to get this huge painting done I am gambling a lot of things in order to get it done... I will keep this blog updated as I keep working on my tidepool!

Behind every great film there is a man or woman that has spent at least a quarter of their life preparing, brainstorming, testing and of course, failing... in order to bring us the juicy final product. As an student in the field of entertainment, I have seen the sweat and effort that needs to be taken in order to complete an ambitious project. I hope that all of you guys who are reading this feel the same and if you don't... is ok... we all have different ambitions!!
